Devices - Bronze and Silver Oak Leaf for subsequent awards USS Asgard and USS Columbus in working with the Independent ship Maximillian on three separate fundraisers during 2001 including the Mid Ohio Food Pantry, the UN Association Festival and the Toys-for-Tots Campaign The USS MAAT teamed up with the USS JAMESTOWN and the I.K.V. Bat'Leth to produce the charity event "Quark's Casino Royale." This was a night of fun and gaming that benefited the American Red Cross, SFI Stampede and the Overseas Coupon Program. Approximately 60 people attended the event. This event raised $322 for the American Red Cross, $2100 worth of coupons for the Overseas Coupon Program and more than 700 stamps for the Stampede.
The USS Francis Marion in concert with the IKV Resolute a chapter of the Klingon Armada International participated in a canned food drive. The drive ran from 10/02 until 11/02 and was to provide support and aide to local food banks. Between the USS Francis Marion and the IKV Resolute over 400 cans of food were raised for this endeavor.
USS Asgard and USS Columbus in working with the Independent ship Maximillian and Trek Galaxy -These four organizations worked together to collect funds and toys for Tots For Tots in 2002. They all participated in Trek Bowl, a bowling tournament organized by Trek Galaxy with all profits going to purchase toys. Members of all four organizations purchased toys or donated money to purchase toys. They held a raffle to raise money for this project.
