Also gave them a check in the amount of $50.00 that was from donations and sales of recycled aluminum. Collection of shoes, coats and other personal items for young people at a local school. USS Heimdal NCC-1793 - Annual support of charities. Recycling of aluminum and donations of used printer ink cartridges to local Humane Society shelter. Sending a local middle school student to Space Camp. Emergency donations mad throughout the year to aid with relief in natural disaster or to replenish the shelves at the Salvation Army Food pantry. USS Cumberland - For participation in the Rutherford County Relay For Life. Helping to man the booth and walked during the event. Unit raised $586.00 for cancer research. (211006.17)

USS Jurassic Engineering Dept. - Building and testing a couple of antennas for the annual field day event. This year they operated from Engineer Jerry's pontoon boat. The antenna proved to function well except for a couple of bands. (211105.14)

USS Jurassic - annual amateur radio field day weekend in June 2010. It involves setting up an amateur radio station and making as many contacts as possible during the weekend. (211005.14)

USS Revelation USS Revelation bowling team for their participation in the Big Brothers/Big Sisters Give Kids a Chance Bowling tournement during April of 2010. Members bowled in uniform and raised over $200 for the organization. This is an ongoing effort by the crew of the Revelation. Members this year included: Fleet Captain Charlie Hess; Rear Admiral Melissa Larkin; Colonel Harold Spears; Vice Admiral Wade Larkin (211105.14)Larkin.
