About Tech Boot Camp

The third annual Senior Friendship Centers Tech Boot Camp will be held July 26-30, 2010 at the SFC Sarasota campus. Our theme for this year is "work smarter not harder". Tech Boot Camp is an inter-generational program which presents the opportunity for senior citizens to increase their understanding and comfort level with such technologies as cell phones, GPS, internet/email, Skype, Facebook, Digital Cameras and Wii games.  Classes are taught by volunteer instructors with the help of high school student aides to provide one-on-one assistance.

Classes are $20 each and meet for about two hours. Registration begins July 6th, 2010.
