Objective

The goal of this organization is to promote a positive, challenging, and fun learning environment for chess playing in Seymour, Connecticut.  Seymour Chess is a public non-profit organization dedicated to all levels of play, from teaching students chess basics to advanced free play for adults.  There is no prior knowledge of chess necessary to join, only a desire to learn and have fun.  We are currently seeking volunteers to assist with teaching chess and members interested in participating.  We are also seeking a venue, so if anyone has any suggestions, please advise.

We have a limited number of chess sets available.  You are welcome to bring a chess set and a clock in if you would like.
