Joel Weaver

Missionary in Kenya, East Africa

            Dear Pastor,

My second son, Paul, has been working with us in the ministry here in Kenya since October 2005.  He had raised minimal support and came out last year in response to the overwhelming work load that I found myself under.  He has done a great job helping in the church planting ministry as well as majoring on the work at Camp Lukenya.  One of his gifts is that of working with young people and under his leadership the Camp has seen many young people come to know Jesus Christ as personal Savior.

Late last year we discussed his future ministry and made an important decision.  His heart is here in Kenya and he wants to continue in the ministry here but needs to raise his full support.  This would make Paul a “third generation missionary” here in Kenya. In late December he left Kenya for the States to begin to organize himself for fulltime missionary service.

I am writing on his behalf to not only recommend Paul but to also ask if you and your church would be willing to consider taking Paul on for support.

The doors continue to be open for ministries here in Kenya but the workers are few.  We do so desperately need help and would appreciate your consideration in this special request.

In His Service,

Joel Weaver
