I am a researcher in the Internet of Things team at SAP Research Center Dresden. Previously I was a postdoctoral research assistant at Chair for Automata Theory in Institute of Theoretical Computer Science at Technical University of Dresden, where I also obtained my PhD under supervision of Prof. Franz Baader and Prof. Bernhard Ganter. Before that I studied computer engineering at Middle East Technical University, Ankara.

Research Interests

On the applied research side I am interested in Internet of Things, ICT for enterprises, and smart factories.

On the academic research side I am interested in artificial intelligence and theoretical computer science, especially:

• knowledge representation and reasoning with description logics,
  
• lattice theory and formal concept analysis,
• computational complexity of some problems in these fields,
• applications of these fields in ontologies and semantic web
