Welcome to all who visit this site.  My name is Bob Kreps and I'm an ordained Permanent Roman Catholic Deacon serving in the Diocese of Orlando, Florida and at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Winter Park, FL.  The primary purpose of this site is to post the sermons/homilies I write.  Your comments, criticism, and suggestions are welcome.  Contact me at deaconbobk@yahoo.com.

Here's a little bit more about my background.

I retired in 1994 from the US Air Force as a colonel after 28 years in various command and staff positions.  Education:  BA in Chinese from Stanford University; MA in Far Eastern History from the University of Arizona; MS in Information Technology from Barry University.  The Air Force also sent me to Harvard University as an Air Force Research Associate at the Program for Information Resources Policy (PIRP) and as an Adjunct Fellow at the Kennedy School of Government.  There I produced a Research Monologue "Buying Hens not Eggs:  The Acquisition of Communications and Information Technology by the People's Republic of China."  In the Air Force I served in the intelligence field, developed information technology systems, and was the Defense and Air Attache to Romania in 1990 -1992 (immediately after the 1989 Romanian Revolution).  I have been an ordained Permanent Deacon in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Orlando since 2002.  My primary areas of ministry are Ministry to the Sick and the building of an orphanage for the children of AIDS victims, the Home of the Holy Angels, in Kibale, Uganda.
