We live in an amazing country and are very blessed with health, education and lifestyle.  Even in our tough economic times, most of us can think of a way to give a little bit to help others in need.  At Seren Home Care & Support Services we have been encouraged by family and friends by their support in promoting our business.  Our hope is that we can give back by supporting our family, friends and the community in their efforts to make life a little better for others here at home and in places far away.

January 2012 Happy New Year! 
Seren Home Care & Support Services is pleased to announce that we have become partners with My Girlfriend's Closet in their efforts to support local charities.  We are doing this by starting the Silver Ribbon Project.  The Silver Ribbon Project is a campaign to raise awareness and funds for the Oceanside Hospice, Community Meals, the Haven Society and the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.  Laura and Lana, of My Girlfriend's Closet have been involved with these charities for many years.  
Dini and Don, of Seren, have been clients and supporters of My Girlfriend's Closet for several years and appreciate the work that Laura does for the community and admire her integrity.  We thought it made more sense to partner with someone who has the same goals than to start up something on our own.  And so, "The Star Ribbon Project" is born!  Creativity plays a big part in this campaign as well.  Dini has been supplying My Girlfriend's Closet with handmade accessories and now 30% of the sale of items tagged with a Silver Ribbon will go directly to charity.   Thank you for your support!
