Taster/Introductory
   8 - 14.99Km
    Non Competitive
.   All horses shall be inspected by a Veterinary Surgeon if available or a competent person appointed by the Ride Organiser, at the start and finish
.       Must be ridden between 8Km – 11Kmph
. No cumulative mileage awarded 

Pleasure

·         15 - 29Km

·         Non Competitive

·         All horses shall be inspected by a Veterinary Surgeon if available or a competent person appointed by the Ride Organiser, at the start and finish

·         Must be ridden between 8Km – 11Kmph

·         Riders wishing to go faster must enter the event as a Training Ride

·         Cumulative mileage will only be awarded to riders completing the distance within the speed parameters.
 

Training

·         15 - 29Km

·         All horses shall be inspected by a Veterinary Surgeon if available or a competent person appointed by the Ride Organiser, at the start and finish

·         Ridden under Competitive Ride Rules

·         Minimum Speed 9Kmph

 ·         Cumulative mileage will only be awarded to riders completing the distance within  the maximum time allowance of 9Kmph

·         Riders are not eliminated for exceeding Speed Category parameters but will be advised how to achieve them.
 

Competitive

·         30Km – 80km

·         Veterinary Inspections

·         Ridden under Competitive Ride Rules

·         Horse Log Book required

·         Minimum speed 9Kmph

·         May be used as a Grading Ride
 

Gated - [Endurance Rides]

·         60Km – 160km

·         Veterinary Inspections

·         Ridden under Gated Ride Rules

·         Horse Log Book required

·         Minimum speed 9Kmph

·         May be used as a Grading Ride
 

Multiple Day Rides

·         Competitive and Gated Distances per ride schedule

·         Veterinary Inspections

·         Horse Log Book required

·         Minimum speed each day 9Kmph

·         May  be used as a Grading Ride

·         Qualifications may be required
 

Camp Rides

·         Maximum distance per day –50Km

·         Horse’s age – 5 years and over

·         Non Competitive

·         All horses shall be inspected by a Veterinary Surgeon if available or a competent person appointed by the Ride Organiser, at the start and finish of each day

·         Route should not return to the same venue at the end of each day

·         Entrants must stay on site overnight

·         Mileage awarded to last successful vetting

     ·         Awards – progressive completion rosettes, with the awarding of an overall   completion rosette at the discretion of individual branches.
