Welcome to THE site for design and technical information for Penn State's School of Theatre.  We have a few main goals in using this web site.  Above all we want to ensure that all the information we need to produce our shows is complete and centralized.  We want to facilitate everyone's access to the information and make it accessible in the most convenient way possible.  We also want to help cut down on the amount of paper generated by standard methods of  design presentation.

The "Design and Technical Process and Guidelines" section lays out the design process in terms of dates and what is expected when.  We will assign dates for each step of each show and this information will be viewable on the SOT Google Calendar.  Please take the time to go over the document and dates with your mentor.

In the "Current Designs" section you will find design information for our current and next season.  In the "Our Spaces" section you can browse technical information and download CAD and/or PDF files of our spaces. 

Please refer to the "What We Need" section before you begin your design.  Here you will find what types of files you should provide and how many actual paper copies you need to distribute.  Yes, we still need paper!
