Homework grading scale: 10 points for a
general assignment/ worksheet.
-Homework is graded on COMPLETION, to your BEST EFFORT (used notes/references, etc). 5=lowest grade on HW, given for work not done or if you don’t have it in class when due. You need to do any assignment that you miss for late
credit.
Late work will be graded 7 pts instead of 10. (You cannot keep a 5 (not done);
I expect you will make it up ASAP.) *If you get a 5 (don’t completely do it), you CAN copy in the correct answer AS WE CORRECT IT, not before I check if it’s done. If you are working on your homework on the day it is due, after
the bell rings, you will receive a 5 (F). Finish it at home when
you’re not hurrying!! If you are caught copying, you BOTH will receive a 0. However
comparing completed assignments or discussing a question is
perfectly acceptable, and encouraged. Quiz/Exam Retakes: Any quiz taken can be retaken if a student recieves a D or F. Students should study and come into class prepared to retake the quiz. Any final exam or end of chapter unit test is NOT able to be retaken. | If you miss a class..... 1) Try to plan ahead and talk to a friend to get you your Spanish class handouts and homework from the day. 2) Talk to me. 3) Check out the website to make sure you are up-to-date on all the homework assignments! *Remember if you are going to be on a field trip you are responsible for getting the homework ahead of time to have ready for when you get back. Your homework that was due the day of the trip you must also show me, it is YOUR responsibility to make sure I see your homework! |
