The Jazz Ensemble is an auditioned group consisting of many of the finest musicians at Southeast.  The wind sections of the band are open to seventh- and eighth-grade band students only.  The rhythm section is open to any student at Southeast.  Besides performing at the winter and spring concerts, the Jazz Ensemble goes on a Recruitment Tour to our three feeder elementary schools, performs at Cafe Jazz with the high school, and performs at other functions as needed.
