The Basketball Band is open to any seventh- and eighth-grade band student. We use all band instruments plus the drum set for our performances. Students attend rehearsals to prepare for the basketball season and then attend as many games as our schedule will allow. Please check below for the schedule of rehearsals and performances. The last three years we performed for multiple home games and usually had between 30 and 45 students performing. The group was great and was really involved in games going down to the buzzer. Come out and have lots of fun with the Pep Band! PEP BAND REHEARSAL & PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE 2011 - 2012
*Rehearsals will be from 3:50 – 4:45.
**Students may ride tutorial bus home or be a car rider on REHEARSAL DAYS.
***Students need to attend rehearsals in order to participate at games & be part of the yearbook photo (at least 7 of 8 rehearsals).
We will perform for girls and boys games at six home games. We will rehearse from 3:50 – 4:30 on game day and then move to the gym. Students should wear their band polo at all games and should bring money for snacks/dinner. A snack/dinner break will be provided.
Students will be assigned a flip folder and lyre at the first rehearsal. Students are expected to turn in both items at the end of the basketball season. Music may include the following:

Wear your band polo.
Bring money for snacks and/or dinner.
Game day will include a short rehearsal from 3:50 – 4:30 with the girls’ game beginning at 4:45.
Pep Band performs for both the girls and boys basketball games.
Tickets for parents and non-performers are $3.00 for adults and $2.00 for students.
