Eat Carrot Sticks
When you smoked, the intense heat dried out the saliva in your mouth. Now that you no longer smoke, you may experience a build-up in saliva. Cut some carrots into sticks and chew on these - they are excellent for drying out your mouth.
Other advantages: This also gives you something to do with your hands, and while you are snacking, it will not cause you to put on extra weight.
