Travel Grants

Research Scholars are finding it difficult to collect information about the travel grants when they are looking for some funding agencies to fund them - to attend conferences, seminars abroad.

I also felt this problem when i was trying to collect informations. When to submit the forms, to whom it needs to be addressed etc., Hope this webpage will satisfy some of the basic needs of the Research scholars.

Travel Grants are provided to the research scholars by many institutes and research establishments across the country, like DST, CSIR, AICTE, INSA, ARDB, COSTED, Sir Ratan Tata Trust, IITMAANA etc., Data forms and filled sample forms and applications are provided here. The applicants may modify the contents/improve the way of presenting in their own way.

Before going to submit your application

Read this article, refine your application, make it more presentable and submit. Before submitting the application, please make a checklist of enclosures and cross check whether everything is appended to the application and one important thing. Please submit the application IN time.

Covering Letter

A sample covering letter, which i used, can be found here. Covering letter needs to be modified by the individual as per his/her view. I have used the same covering letter for all funding agencies. It was highly recommened that you prepare individual covering letter for the agencies as needed.
