Quidano

Quidano was born in 2379 in the Garan homeworld's Glaikta region. His early training and education were minimal since his family were of a farm labor caste and it was seen as unnecessary. His parents raised him to be a devout follower of Heirnma which centers around the right to live. He was never satisfied with his life as a young adult and when the merchant caste called out members of lower castes and introduced them to the principles of the Nal'gaharay, he joined them willingly believing that he would be fighting for his people against an enemy originating outside the Delta Quardant.

He was a member of the Nal'gaharay for several years, often having little to no contact aside from other member of the Nal'gaharay on the ships that he served. Afterwards, he watched a human mother as she held her small, dying child while it took its last breath. He then came to the realization that he was the aggressor endangering , not the other way around. In the meantime, the Garan government disavowed the Nal'gaharay for its terrorist ways. They even ostracized those of their own race that chose to associate with them. Despite deciding to leave the Nal'gaharay, Quidano could not go home.

Quidano eventually found his way to the SS Axel and currently serves as the ship's executive officer. He is also an accomplished pilot and has some skill in hand to hand combat. He has made a personal promise to never take another life himself. For this reason he generally prefers the use of less than lethal weapons and may sometimes encourage others to do so also.
