Who can resist the violet blue eye-color of the Balinese and Siamese? I can't!
Balinese cats are linked closely with their short-haired Siamese cousins and their non-pointed counterparts, the Oriental longhairs and shorthairs. In TICA, all of these breeds are combined into the Siamese Breed Group. My program emphasizes the Balinese because....well, I think they are the Vogue models of pedigreed cats! But I am very spoiled by having winners in both the Oriental and Siamese breeds as well.
