Support members of the Matador Colorguard as they perform student works May 24th at 5pm in the West Gym.  We will also be honoring our Seniors.
Free Admission.

5/24/12:  The August Calendar has been updated.  *Notice: Aug. 22nd and 23rd are from 8am-12pm.


5/14/12:  Congrats to the 52 young men and women that will make up the 2012-2013 Matador Colorguard!  This year will be epic!

5/9/12:  Calendar has been updated to Aug. 31st.  You are not guaranteed a marching spot....you must attend rehearsals to earn your spot.  Let's make this a GREAT START to a GREAT SEASON.


5/8/12:  WOW!  60 young men and women have come to audition for the 2012-2013 Colorguard so far!  It's not too late.  We will be in the West Gym Wednesday May 9th from 4-5:30 pm.  Come out and give it a shot!  You never know if you don't try!


4/2/12:  Congrats to both Varsity and JV winterguards for representing Seguin HS with grace and class at all their contests this season!

11/8/11- Winterguard auditions took place this week.  We have 18 cast members for the Varsity Guard, and 16 cast members for the JV Guard!  This season is shaping up to be a memorable one!

10/25/11-  A Competitive Marching Season Wrap-Up:

The Mighty Matador Band and Colorguard's first contest was at a very windy and rainy USSBA contest hosted in Schertz-Cibolo Oct 8th.  The Band overall placed 1st winning the captions in Music, Visual (guard effects this score), and Drums.

The Matador Colorguard won Outstanding Colorguard at the Judson Rocket Review Marching Contest on Oct 15th.  Their hard work has definitely paid off!  The SHS Drumline won Outstanding Percussion and the band tied for 2nd place overall.

On Oct 22nd the Matador Band and Colorguard for receiving a 1st Division at the Region 12 UIL Marching Contest!  All three judges gave the program straight 1st, the highest rating.
