The Secular Society of Temple University is in the process of scheduling a Special Election (see Article IV, Section 6 of our Constitution) to choose a new Secretary.

We understand that our members have varying commitments to their own schedules, but in order to hold a Special Election we require the presence of at least 30% of our active membership, excluding officers on the Executive Board (see Article IV, Section 6). Thus, we ask that our members please contact us with their availability so that we can schedule the election in such a time as will work for the majority.

Those interested in running for Secretary of the Secular Society should familiarize themselves with the Constitution, and in particular with Article IV, Section 2 of the Constitution, which describes the duties of that position.

The Executive Board encourages its members to run for this position, and to make this election a memorable and valuable experience for our organization.
