Some of the ideas discussed in our meetings involve creative uses of internet services like YouTube to popularize our organization and gain visibility: Austin has a video camera, and we have discussed getting a group YouTube account and making short videos. There is also the proposed group trip to the UPenn Museum of Anthropology and Archaeology, which should coincide with Darwin Day on February 12th. We plan to have more movie nights, as well as additional CST3K events. We are looking for people to provide photos of group events for facebook and for this site. Also, we are looking for anyone with a talent for art (particularly cartoons/sketches/etc...) who can help out with this website by adding something of a personal touch. |
