The House

Seaview is situated right on the seafront in the coastal town of Sheringham and was built, we believe, in 1811 as a pair of fisherman’s cottages and remained as two properties until about 40 years ago when it was converted into one residence.  It is this conversion that affords the cottage far more space than most of the former fisherman’s homes.  The house retains many original features such as the fireplace, chimney and beams.

The house comprises of three large bedrooms, one double with panoramic sea views and two twin rooms, additional beds are available in the form of a freestanding pull out bed upstairs and downstairs a sofa bed.  The first floor has a family bathroom and the ground floor a shower room with WC.  A large comfortable lounge with Sky TV and DVD player leads to a well equipped kitchen, with washing machine and dishwasher.  Adjoining the kitchen is the large, airy dining room and outside, a small courtyard with BBQ leads down the steps to the seafront.  WiFi is available with the code provided in the house.  Well behaved pets are welcome at an additional fee of £10 per week.

Public parking is available on Beach Road and a public car park on Cliff road is only 50 yards away.   From the car park you can walk down the steps to the promenade and the short walk to the house.  Weekly parking permits are available from the tourist information office next to the steam railway.
