First Wednesday New Member Nights: The first Wednesday of every month is New Member Night at the clubhouse, and there is a need to have someone go to represent the committee. The meeting begins at 7pm and Ken Hahn, of the Mountaineers staff, gives a short presentation on the club activities, and then the new members and prospective members are free to wander around and talk to representatives of the various committees. It is a good way to learn about what other committees are doing, and also a nice service to the committee. Send email to toddbackpack@gmail.com if you can go.

Committee Correspondence
Reserving rooms at the Mountaineers Building (Magnusson Park) Room rentals are done through Mickie Lewark (mickiel@mountaineers.org; 206 521 6005). The building layout is linked here (.pdf); and the rooms you can rent are "Conference," "Cascade," and "Goodman." Goodman is commonly broken up into sections, and it appears that Cascade can be too. A calendar showing room reservations is linked here. Mountaineers committees use a specific form for reserving rooms and it can be found on the Mountaineers Contact WWW page (the form (.doc)). A completed example of the form for reserving " Goodman A & B" is linked to the 2009 class information below. You email the the completed form to Mickie.
