Mama Bee Seabea is hungry all the time!

Her usual openning line in different languages usually is

"Wo Hen Er!"  "Tengo Hombre"  "Pay gu Payo" = "I'm hungry!"

She thinks that is the most important survival phase in this world.

Best years to learn a second language

is 0-7, we all only have it once,

so catch the boat!

In Europe & Asia, most people are at least bilingual and there are studies that show even kids live in a quatro lingual family (grandpa, grandma, parents all speak different languages), the kids do NOT get confused.  There are tremendous benefits to start learning when they are under 7 year of age.  Give your children the gift that will benefit them for life.  By learning a second language, a child will have a better understanding of English itself.  There are lots of study to support the benefit, do your own deligence.

Who is Mama Bee?

Mama Bee Seabea is 100% Chinese.  She was born in Yunan, China.   She has three little brother bees.  She moved to Hong Kong when she was 7.  Her family speaks Mandarin at home and she went to a Mandarin primary and secondary school.  Mama Bee LOVES ocean, therefore her name has a sea in it.  She thinks even though she is tiny like a bee but still belongs to a magnificient beautiful BIG sea.

Who influenced her to teach Chinese?
Now, Mama Bee has 2 little bees of her own, Cassie (4) and Everest (2).
Before the babies were born, she asked herself,  "what could be the biggest gift to give my children?"  The answer came and she is determined to give them the gift of languages.  When she was at the Live Oak Resource Center, she asked Ping (one of Seabea most respected teachers/ mommies).  Ping said, in order to teach children, you must incporporate play in it.  Sure!  Seabea loves the answer and continue her daily duty to entertain her 2 full time demanding clients with ongoing fun songs and games!

Bio?  Background?  Training?

She is a happy mamma bee of two (who believes children learn most through playing), educated in Early Childhood Development and is a certified Music Together teacher.  She used to work as a Chinese news broadcaster and did many radio commercials.  She is fluent in both Mandarin and Cantonese.  She likes kids so much, in fact, way before she was a mom, she volunteered for the tri-city child care center, so that she could jumped and played with kids all day long.

Mama bee loves learning, she just finished taking a intenstive Chinese Teachers training classes in San Francisco State Univeristy.  She will be doing another Music Together Training in the winter season.
