It was a wonderful day of service – we accomplished so much all around Vermillion! Look for pictures and possibly a video in the next few days.
Also, if you are interested, there are two additional MLK events happening at USD that we’d encourage you to attend. Information on these is listed below:
January 20th: FILM – The Untold Story of Louis Emmett Till. 6pm in the Al Neuharth Media Center Freedom Forum Conference Room. Dialogue following the screening: “What does the Civil Rights Movement Mean in Today’s World?” In partnership with Black Students Union and Campus Diversity Enhancement Group.
Based in the city of Vermillion, community members of all ages will be working together
to complete service projects throughout southeastern South Dakota.
