Everyone is required to complete a pro/con chart for the bill

assigned to them that is  due in class on Monday as a hard copy... do NOT email. Everyone, whether

you are going to Fullerton or competing in congress or not. Each

pro/con chart needs to have 6 arguments on each side of the issue.

These are not just analytic arguments. Make sure they are separate

arguments that contain claim + data + warrant. Include statistics you

find doing your research as well as sources for all arguments. That

being said, THESE ARE NOT CARDS YOU ARE CUTTING. You cannot read

evidence in a Congress round, but you can reference arguments. If you

are at all uncertain about the details of this assignment, please ask

Ms. Leonard or Mr. Newkirk  on Friday or email Mr. Newkirk, or ask him at a

workshop over the weekend.
