2007-08

Shenandoah County Public Schools sponsored the Summer Scholars Program for the eighth year with financial support from Shentel.  The program was held at North Fork Middle School in Quicksburg, Virginia and was open to gifted and highly motivated students who had completed grades 3 - 8 during the 2007-08 school year. Students met daily for a week from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm.  There were field trip experiences as well as guest speakers for some groups.  There was no cost for this program however transportation was not provided this year.  Thanks to SCPS and Shentel for providing this wonderful opportunity for our young students.  Click here to visit the happenings during the 2008 SSP.
