Presenting: The Scott Shute
So I guess I should take this "web site" thing seriously since I expect someone might view this and think I've completely lost it. Not too far from the truth, but I've got to try to keep it together in order to fool those who don't know me better. So, on that note, check out the terrible tunes I will be posting, featuring the genius artists Russ Johnson, Tony Candeleria, Joel Reis (RIP), Tim Hughes, Ken Lyon, Justin Abernathy, Dave Hughes, Gabriel Garcia, and myself. I hope these tracks inspire, annoy, and prove our never ending wealth of passion for art and creativity.
December 20th, 2006 BEERFEST has been scheduled for 7/7/07. Start training now. Teams of 4. $50.00 per team. Uniforms and team names required. Prizes and Trophy. Oh, and December 23rd, call me for details. There's a secret.
December 6th, 2006 Happy December! Day 6, and the 18th can't come sooner. Anybody interested in a kegger on the weekend of the 23rd? Beer games. and more...... By the way, Anyone up for a painting exchange this Christmas? November 17th, 2006 Looks like the party's off for December 23rd. But, if you know me, contact me, there is something up the sleeve. Happy Thanks day. October 20th, 2006 I highly recommend jumping out of an airplane. I can't say it was a perfectly good airplane, but, jumping out of it was a good decision. Jerry graced us with his presence, which I can say was absolutely awesome! Again, a happy 10/10 to all, it looks like next years 10/10 will be hosted by the Shute Manor. Also, let me know of ideas or concerns for the December 23rd party. The ball is rolling for the second album, "Bad Ideas". Hopefully a few surprises are in store for this one. Tim. I'll be at the hotel all weekend, so up yours! Sept. 15th, 2006 Howdy Doody! Vegas is all ready for us, staying at the Luxor, plane hopping on the 11th, not the 10th. Jerry's goin!!!!! The old man has some tricks to show the children. Took a tour of Cafe FX, WOW! That shit's come a long way. A bowling alley? Yeah, they've got one. Got a bunch of "other stuff" too. Ran into an old friend there, found out he teaches the 3D classes at Hancock. So, Angela and I are going to take the classes and try to intern at that place. My mom lost 30lbs.! She looks awesome! My dad lost 15lbs.! He doesn't look as old! HAHAHAHA! I wish Anna Candeleria well and a great recovery. A lot of thought is going out to her. As far as music, I am enjoying making little pieces that go nowhere. Nowhere. But it's good to me. Cause they will. Go nowhere! HAHAHAHAHA! But really folks, I'm just gearing up for the next Hugheshute. Dave's almost ready, I'm almost ready, and the album will begin soon. And oh is it going to be good. Real good.
August 14th, 2006 If anyone is interested, I am going to Las Vegas for 10/10 and jumoing out of a plane. I found round trip tickets to vegas with a 3 night stay at the Excalibur for under 300 buckaroos. I know, an expensive trip, but it is the 10th, 10/10. So, I'm looking for the danger. Also, check out Angela's new page--------- Purple Liver
August 6th, 2006 What Were We Thinking, the updated track posting. Tracks have yet to be titled, if there are any suggestions, please email me @ scott.ohyesidid@gmail.com. More tracks to be posted hopefully in the next 2 days. Reportedly, Dave is finishing up his album, "How to Sleep", and should be on the way this week. I will begin track 1 of my "ambient" album this Wednesday. As well as play a lot of Madden 06. Angela will be posting a new site for all of her paintings, look for the link this week. I hope all of you caught Dawn on the HGTV show "Thats Clever", if not go here, or email me for a DVD. August 3rd, 2006 Howdy, it's been a while since an update, so here it is. New tracks will be posted soon, including old tracks by myself and collaborations. If there are requests for certain tracks, please email me here= scott.ohyesidid@gmail.com. Dave and I had a decent jam over the weekend, confirming we cant help but play mathy funk music. The new kit sounds great, and the "studio" is being re-vamped currently with new equipment, such as sound proofing, new Digi, new bass amp, drums, mics, etc. So the projects will be coming soon. In addition to the re-vamp, I strongly urge everyone to help figure out a way to share large files via email. Attention: Christmas Party at the Shute Manor will be held Saturday, December 23rd, 2006. Once again, this will be an invite only party, hopefully completed with a couple performances on the new stage, champagne toast, kegs, tents, mudwrestling, wild animals, danger, fire, and of couse, Dawn, Jerry, and Kyle. As Dave has been pushing to have an ambient album collaborated between friends, I would like to push for a collaboration album of songs. You know, Dave and Russ do a song, Tim and Joel do a song, Ken and Lino do a song, etc. And I do mean "songs", with like melody and lyrics. Just another thought. Keep it in mind. Cheers!
3/27/06 Here we go...... For all of you that have worked together in "jams", or "projects", or what have you? This little internet land of mine will allow myself and others to access the noise made over the last few years by a few individuals that have NO business playing music together. So, slowly but surely, I will be posting the numerous tracks of terrible attempts at greatness, along with awful pics of the idiots involved in these shanigans. Don't take me seriously? Check out http://davetime.net for a sense of serenity. Until later, indulge yourself with these cuddly little teddy bears! By the way, CHEERS!
APRIL 30th, 2006 Alright, here are the "jams" that should have been up a long time ago. Stupid music for smart people Enjoy, I hope none of this works for you, and I know none of you will be inspired by the waste of time spent creating this "crap" called music.
