Parkersburg City Park Pavilion,site for the 2012 Scottish and Celtic Heritage Festival.The festival is held inside the facility which is handicapped-accessible,and there is plenty of free parking available right next to the Pavilion.There are men's and women's restroom facilities inside,and plenty of seating inside. Please no pets allowed, unless it's a service animal.
The City Park is located at the corner of 17th Street and Park Avenue. After entering past the fountain, you can see the Pavilion on the left - follow the park directional signs.
From I-77, take the 7th Street exit
From Route 50, take the 7th Street exit
From Athens, Ohio - after reaching Belpre, go over the "Free" Parkersburg/Belpre Bridge, the bridge feeds off onto Ann Street, at the light at Ann and 4th streets you turn left and proceed up 4th Street to Juliana Street, this is another left turn. Then merge into the far right lane. At the third light, turn right onto 7th Street.
Continue up 7th Street, then past the car dealerships, there is a light at the corner of Park Avenue and 7th Street, there is a Wendy's restaurant in front of you.
Take a left at this light onto Park Avenue. Then turn right at the light at 17th and Park Avenue, you will see the City Park, it has a stone entrance, and large fountain.
The pavilion is on the left as you enter, follow the park directional signs.
The pavilion entrance is near the playground, police substation.
If you choose to take the Toll bridge from Belpre, the toll is now 50 cents, turn right at the light after the tollbooths, pull into the far left lane.
Turn left at 19th Street, you will see St. Joseph's Hospital ahead.
Turn left at the top of the hill at the light, you are now on Dudley Avenue. You will see Parkersburg High School on your left.
Proceed to the next light and turn right onto 23rd Street, at the Pizza Place restaurant.
Continue several blocks through residential area until you reach the City Park.
