This subject used the case study of Caroline Springs in Melbourne to explore the concepts of sustainability, open space linkages, green corridors, and transport networks. Students learned how to synthesise and evaluate a wide range of information in order to offer planning solutions and visions for emerging suburbs and communities that are located on the green fringes of major cities.
