8/2/08 - I'm back!  Wow, has it been a whole YEAR?  I guess so, but what a year it's been. I enrolled in and finished an accelerated RN program, and will be starting out in my new career later this month! Some things of note- 

• there are some new babies in the world, as Mike and Cyndi Melancon, and Paul and Meloni Williams, both had their first children (both daughters); congrats guys!
• Brother Rob has finally graduated from Med School and has begun his residency at Mobile, good job Rob! Oh, and make sure the couch is a futon or foldout, since you're so close to the beach...!
• Mike has sold the house in Lakeview and is looking at cribs here in BR; expect a nice new tailgating headquarters as I think it'll be close to campus. 
• Suzy and Jared have been an item for quite awhile, so it should come as no surprise that he's planning on giving her a ring for her birthday! This came directly from her- just goes to show how settled and 'married' they already are.. ;-)
• Sister Sue has recently been on a mission, gathering up contacts and emails of the Ellis clan, and she's done an impressive job of it. We should be seeing a bunch more on that shortly. Thanks Sue!

More later, and maybe this time I'll keep this updated better, now that my life is returning to normal. Peace, and GEAUX TIGERS!

8/5/07- HAPPY BIRTHDAY MIDGE

1/4/07- the day after the Sugar Bowl, with LSU drilling Notre Dame 41-14. Went to the game with Steve, along with Mike and Mike, Randy and Elena.  Since we each had a child with us, we kept the tailgating to an acceptable family level. Pics here of the pregame lunch at Deanie's in Bucktown, some of the festivities around Allegro's by the Dome, and then some stuff from the acutal game itself. Just an awesome time!

11/18/06- just back from Miami Beach, posting some pics here. Back in town, did a brief tour of the French Quarter last night - Randy bringing in Jessica for her first taste of Nawlins and LSU tailgating this weekend. Will post pics from that here.  Gonna head back up to Baton Rouge to tailgate for the LSU-Ole Miss game tonight.
