Purpose of the SCLHGMS:

 The purpose of the Club is to bring together those persons interested in geology; mineralogy and lapidary work in an environment focused on the enjoyment and comradeship associated with the rock-hounding hobby, provide a place where they can share and develop their knowledge and skills in cutting, grinding, polishing and displaying their collections. , hold meetings to share knowledge and activities related to the rockhound hobby, plan collecting trips, and rock and mineral identification. Member of California Federation of Mineralogical Societies, American Federation of Mineralogical Societies, Co-Op Field Trip Association of Northern California. Club colors: Maroon and Gold. Dues $20.00 Annually; $30.00 Family, one half from 8/1-12/31
