"I would urge teachers to see their shows" Edinburgh Festivals Magazine

Science Shows for Schools and Aardvark Science provide exciting, professional and great value for money shows about science performed in your venue.

We are all teachers who are passionate about science. Unlike other companies we do not employ actors (with no science experience) or students (with no performance experience) to present our shows. We are so confident you will love our shows that we offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee.

Excellent value for money
Book us to visit your school and for less than half the cost of a typical visit to a science centre three times as many of your students will witness the best that science has to offer. Click on this link for our prices. Click on this link to learn more about our shows.

Easy for you to arrange
Book us to visit your school and you will have no expensive science centre admission charges to pay, no buses to arrange and pay for, no permission slips to collect, no negotiations with other teachers or departments to let children out of school and no time wasted in the school day wasted to traveling. Click on this link to make a booking.

The highest quality
We pride ourselves on the consistent quality of our shows. We are professional science presenters who are all teachers with past performing experience. We receive no funding to perform our shows, we are totally funded by bookings from schools and festivals. As such you can be assured that the performance you see will be of the highest standard- every show we perform is an advert for our next booking. Who have we worked for?
Our recent credits include BBC One (Bang goes the theory roadshow). The Big Bang (the UK's largest school's science and engineering event) and The BT Young Scientist Exhibition (Ireland's largest schools science and engineering event). We also took a show to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and received two 4/5 star reviews. We have performed in hundreds of schools and colleges and visited the most prestigious science festivals
in the UK and Ireland.

The Bang Goes the Theory roadshow tour continues. Last week were were performing the shows at the Purcell Room in London's Southbank Centre as part of the Royal Society 350th Anniversary Celebrations. Here is a typical review of one of the shows (this refers to the show we have written and perform with Dallas Campbell, there are two others for the other two presenters, Jem Stansfield and Liz Bonnin).
From exploding potato-firing sniper weapons to death defying feats of underwater swimming, the show was packed with fun and excitement for all the family. The interactive performance blended live experiments with scientific facts, video clips and historical figures.
