Asif Shaikh
I am a mathematician with research interests in combinatorial and geometric group theory, particularly in problems related to subgroup structures, automorphisms, and algorithmic aspects of free groups.
I was previously an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at R. A. Podar College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai, India. Earlier, I was a Fulbright–Nehru Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Texas A&M University, College Station, USA.
Recently, I have relocated to Frankfurt am Main, Germany, following my family’s relocation, and I am currently seeking academic opportunities in Germany to continue my research and teaching career.
