- There is a drop box in Schomberg Library for registration forms.
Entries

Scarecrows do not have to be of
the traditional straw and stick variety, they can be made of any medium with
new or recycled materials, only limited by your imagination. See how to make a scarecrow for basic help.
Location
-
Scarecrows must be in place in
Schomberg from 10am
on Saturday, September 26th until 6pm
on Saturday, October 3rd (We can help with location)

You don't have to live in
Schomberg to enter.
Voting for People’s Choice
-
There will be ballot boxes around
Schomberg.
-
Only one vote per person will be
allowed.

There will a prize for the
scarecrow with the most votes from the public.

Public voting will begin at 10am on Saturday, September 26th and
continue until 4pm on Saturday, October
3rd.

Voters that choose the judge's
winner will be entered into a draw which will be done at 7.30pm on October 3rd at the Community
Bonfire Night. Plus all other winners will be announced then.
Judging
-
A team of judges, will view and judge all the
entries starting at 2pm on
Saturday, September 26th.

This year the judging will be for
1st, 2nd and 3rd places.

Winners will be announced at the
Community Bonfire Night at 7.30pm
on October 3rd
- The judging will be based on creativity, originality, effort, durability and quality of construction.
