Scholarly Networks in the British Empire: 5-6 July, 2010
Accommodation

Accommodation for the nights of Sunday 4th and Monday 5th July (only) is available in Wadham College at a cost of £53 per night. All rooms are standard single (with bathroom shared between two or three rooms) and include breakfast. All rooms have a wash-basin. Towels and bed-linens are provided. 

One or two rooms with en suite bathrooms are available at the cost of £65.00. These will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis. 

Check-in is from 2.00 pm on Sunday 4th July and rooms MUST be vacated by 10.00 am on Tuesday 6th July. Suitcases can be left in secure room for the final day of the conference. All room keys will be issued by the Lodge staff. Keys must be returned there upon departure. 

All rooms are non-smoking. 

Please note that for safety reasons no electrical equipment not provided by the College is permitted in any of the rooms with the exception of hair dryers (please make sure these are compatible with UK voltage rates before use). You will be provided with tea/coffee making facilities in your room. Cooking, ironing and/or the use of naked flames (candles etc) are strictly prohibited in all rooms. Laundry and ironing facilities are available – please see the Lodge. Guests are required to provide their own washing powder.

Internet facilities should be available in most rooms, though there are no wireless facilities.

Breakfast will be available from 8.00 – 8.45am and lunch will be from 1.00 – 2.00pm

Please note that NO PARKING is available for cars in Wadham College, and that parking in the centre of Oxford is very limited.
