Asics, Adidas, and Nike are known nowadays as the primary supplier of wrestling shoes in America.  This was not always the case and we are going to outline this history.

 Pictured to the left is the  1969 version of the Chuck Taylor wrestling shoes.  These wrestling shoes are obviously a rare breed that will be discussed as this project matures.
