Calling all Future CROC 4 and 5

Chorus Members!!!!!

This week we will have our CROC 4 and 5 (4 ^th and 5 ^th grade) chorus tryouts.

Remember – anyone who is in the 4 ^th or 5 ^th grade is eligible.

4 ^th Graders - Tryouts will begin on Wednesday, Sept. 2 ^nd at 7:30 a.m. in the music room.

5 ^th Graders – Tryouts will begin on Thursday, Sept 3 ^rd at 7:30 in the music room.

• Want to stay ahead of the pack? - To fill out the Sycamore Creek Chorus application, (click on CROC Chorus Application Attachment below. Have your parents sign it (on the second page) and bring it with you when you come for tryouts! SMART MOVE!!!!

• When you come into the music room for the tryout, you will be asked to sing with a group of 4-6 other students from your grade level.

• If we run out of time the morning your child comes to tryouts, don’t worry… we’ll sneak in some extra tryout times the following week.

• Track 1 students, we’ll take you first at tryouts since you will track out the following week.

After we get CROC 4 and 5 choruses started, we will announce the students selected to work on the Pieces of Gold tryout chorus. This smaller group will require a higher level of participation.

CROC 4 Chorus practices will regularly be on Wednesday mornings at 7:30 a.m.

CROC 5 Chorus practices will regularly be on Thursday mornings at 7:30 a.m.

Students who are tracked out are welcome (but not expected) to come to the practices during their track out time.

Parents – we are looking for some parents who would enjoy helping support the choruses this year – providing snacks, stage helpers, website workers, communications, etc. If you are interested, contact Mr. Scheuer at sscheuer@wcpss.net
