Volunteer!

Volunteering is the key to your child’s success - make it happen!

More than ever, our greatest need is for classroom volunteers, especially in the lower grades. Just listening to a child read and helping with a word here and there can make all the difference for an emerging reader. The library also needs lots of help with shelving. Grandparents? Retired neighbors? We would love their help! Imagine the possibilities if every family donated 15-20 hours per year to our school. Get creative – share shifts with other parents, arrange a baby-sitting co-op or send a relative to volunteer. Don't be shy about discussing with your child's teacher that you would like to help. Fill out the attached Volunteer form and give it to your teacher to get started.
