The first History Week ran in July 2009 and following on from this initial success we are pleased to annouce dates for 2011. The next History Weeks will run 5th - 10th June 2011 21st - 26th August 2011 at a cost of £575 per head. The basic format for the week will remain the same: Troops will arrive on the Saturday lunchtime, grab a cabin, settle in, sort out kit and get ready for the first days diving on the Sunday morning. Diving starts Sunday morning, so the week will be 6 days of diving with two dives on each day. You will vacate the boat first thing the following Saturday morning. The boat generally leaves the pier around 9ish, then an hour to the dive site, dive, then lunch, wander around the shore, back in the water for a late 2pm, home by 5ish. This is not a prescriptive schedule can be changed to suit whatever folk prefer on the day. We will try and vary the evening ports as much as possible. There will be spaces for individuals and small groups on a first come first served basis. Places are secured with a 20percent deposit. Cost includes liveaboard accommodation in twin berth cabins (though it is possible to arrange accommodation ashore if you prefer), breakfast and lunch, air fills, cylinder use, lead weights, dive briefings and history element as listed on the "Outline Page". The charter does not include evening meals or gases such as Nitrox or Trimix which are charged extra depending on usage. Twinset hire can be arranged. |
