Warren Price, III
Warren graduated from the University of North Carolina in 1965. After graduation he was commissioned in the United States Navy and served in Viet Nam (Special Operations, Mekong Delta), 1967-68). After being discharged from the Navy in 1969, Warren attended the University of California, Hastings College of the Law and graduated in 1972 in the top 5% of his class. While at Hastings he was elected to the Order of the Coif, the Thurston Society, and was an Issue Editor of the Hastings Law Journal. Warren joined the Honolulu firm of Goodsill, Anderson, Quinn & Stifel upon graduation. He concentrated in civil litigation, insurance defense cases, commercial disputes, securities class actions, toxic torts, personal injury, and construction defect cases. In 1987, the Governor of Hawaii appointed Warren as the state Attorney General. During Warren’s tenure he was personally involved in thousands of legal matters across the entire spectrum of the legal profession. He received national recognition for his efforts against illegal drugs, as well as for his innovative leadership and management of the one hundred and thirty attorneys in the Department of the Attorney General. Warren joined Price Okamoto Himeno & Lum in 1992. His current practice concentrates on commercial, tort, construction, class action litigation, and general litigation as well as government relations. Warren has also worked with the U.S. Attorney in prosecuting Medicaid and Medicare fraud in Qui Tam litigation.
