SCA Summer Applications Closed
We have received a huge number of applications for the SCA Summer Program. Thanks to everyone who applied! We are currently compiling the applications and conducting interviews, and will be sending out paperwork shortly.

SCA Houston's 2011 Summer Program is a paid summer job ($7.25/hour) for local high school students (or recent graduates) aged 15-19. The Program will begin on June 27th, 2011 and will run for 6 weeks. Final dates are still subject to change.
Members of the program will spend the workday (Monday - Friday) in local parks and nature areas doing conservation projects. These can include building/maintaining trails, restoring habitat, pulling invasive species, planting native species, constructing boardwalks, community gardening, and much more! Also included is some environental education and Green Jobs Readiness Training, as well as a recreational camping trip at the end of the program.
