• We organise film shows, talks and workshops for any groups across Sheffield who are interested in finding out more about climate change and what people can do to make a difference.

• In February 2009 we held a successful Green New Deal conference: Sheffield Green New Deal 
• In autumn 2009 we co-hosted a series of lectures on the politics and economics of climate change, see Cathedral lectures
• In March 2010 we presented a talk on "Is Clean Coal an Act of Faith?"
• In April 2010 we hosted a People's Conference for Climate Justice
  

Organise local days of action and demonstrations

• On Sat 24th October 2009 Sheffield we contributed to events round the globe with 350.org.

Publicise National days of action and demonstrations

• A coachload of campaigners went down from Sheffield for the 2008 National Demonstration in London.
• For the National Demonstration in London 5th December, 2009, we joined the Wave Express train from Yorkshire

Petitions and letters

• We coordinated letters from the public to Climate Minister Ed Miliband in advance of Copenhagen talks
• We have petitioned Sheffield City Council to reduce carbon dioxide emissions across the city
