This Fall...

Third Graders will use measurement skills. They will accurately measure mass, length, volume, time, and temperature in metric units. Then on to matter, force, motion, and magnetism.

Fourth Graders will review metric measurement. Then they will identitfy variables that affect pendulums. After that, they will delve into physical science: electricity, light & optics, mixtures & solutions, density, buoyancy, and heat.

Fifth Graders will review metric measurement. Then they will use the Scientific Method to find out how many bears their lifeboats can save. Then they will further develop their ideas about energy...electrical, sound, magnetic, light, mechanical, potential, and kinetic...
