Saving the World takes Money
These Alternatives actually Save YOU Money!
Since its been quite some time that Ive had to purchase any tampons or pads, I had to do a bit of research to find out exactly how much women save by choosing alternatives. Even if you spend about $3/month on menstrual products, you will spend about the same amount in one year that you will by buying a menstrual cup, yet the cup will (supposedly) last up to ten years. Assuming that no pregnancy will occur in the next ten years of a womans life, most will spend between $350 and $550 on feminine hygiene products. Reusable pads cost between $4 and $16, though can be made for much less if you decide to make them using this pattern. |
