Sawmill/Steelmill is a minutely small independent record label based in the rural West Midlands. The label does, and will continue to focus on releasing records of folk (and it's various sub-genres) based music from quality underground artists.
Although all releases are short runs of under 200, we maintain a high quality of presentation. Whether it be eco friendly hand built card sleeves or shrink wrapped jewel cases with extensive linear notes, each disc and it's artwork are very carefully designed to complement the music. In a world of digital downloads we feel this is extremely important.

Future Releases:
The 8 year wait for Foxtail Soup's debut long player is finally over! This outstanding Worcester based accapella traditional folk trio are the latest outfit to work with Sawmill/Steelmill. About Time, Too, a 14 track master class in unacompanied English folk will be out in mid May this year.
