Started by John McGill (3rd Dan), the Yudan Nashi Kan has been training in
Overnewton in one guise or another for about ten years. The club has 5 black-belt instructors, most of whom have experience
from other martial forms such as boxing, Kendo, Judo, Ju-jitsu, Muay
Thai and Karate. A founding dojo of the Komyokan Aikido Association, the club regularly hosts Shihan Terry Ezra 7th Dan as a guest instructor and attends courses around the country with other high-ranking instructors. Aikido is a martial form that expresses harmony and peace over violence and strength. In this regard it can be safely practise by to children and adults of all ages and abilities.
