The Kelvinhaugh Shoto Budo club provides tuition and coaching in martial arts to the community in the West End of Glasgow, near Yorkhill and Partick. The club mainly practices Karate, but often takes inspiration from other martial arts like Judo or Muay Thai, Jujitsu or Taekwondo. They teach anything that works and that is useful to know for self defence.

The club is still fairly small at the moment, but it is growing - meaning that there is plenty of one to one instruction available from the instructor. This is very valuable and allows club members to learn a lot at every single club practice. The instructor holds a 3rd Dan black belt in Shoto Budo and has plenty of teaching experience.
