Over 100 sign petition to save ORC: Thank You!
@ 13.30 today (28.01.2010) Glasgow City Council decided to close the ORC

LIGHTS OFF AT OVERNEWOTON & 12 COMMUNITY FACILITIES ON 31 MARCH 2010!

Glasgow City Council has chosen to ignore to concerns of the user of the ORC and pressed ahead with closure despite serious doubt over the financial figures and a complete lack of consultation with users.  Only the SNP, Greens and a few Labour councillors voted against the closures and we thank them for standing up for the users of ORC and the people of Glasgow in general.

This site will continue to operate and become a focus for moving forward, there is still a possibility of keeping the centre running although there are some serious considerations along those lines.
