I have had a love for learning and teaching since childhood. I have blended my teaching career into my career in the Indian Software Corporate. I was one of the 2 students selected by Narayana Murthy into Infosys, when I completed my B.E. in 1986, but I joined K.J.S.C.E. (Bombay University) instead as a lecturer. From there I moved to V.E.S.I.T. in Bombay. After that I did my M.Tech in I.I.Sc.
Then I worked in Sonata Software, Tata Unisys Ltd, Mascot Systems (now iGate), Intertec, and Digital Equipment India Ltd (Compaq). This covered my growth in designation and salary from systems analyst, to leader and then to manager (project and then business development).
During that period, I also travelled to USA and lived there: Detroit MI, Louisville KY, Nashua NH and handled projects for clients like - FORD, G.E., DEC etc. I won awards for my projects and learnt interesting technologies. I also went to NEC, Tokyo for one of my projects.
After this, I enjoyed teaching at GITAM, Andhra University before I moved back to Tata Infotech, then Infosys, Dell and Atlas Systems. My last designation was Senior Delivery Manager. This time I went to Los Angeles, California. Among my clients were Pepsi, Qualcomm, Tata Indicom, TWG and MOC1.
I also taught for 3 semesters at M.S.R.I.T.
When I was in California, I visited Caltech. I just loved it!
I have also published two courses in Virtual University on Meditation and the Bhagavad Gita.
I have published articles, stories and poetry and acted in a feature documentary called "An Epoch Without Summer". I love table-tennis, swimming, music, literature and movies.
