hello - this is satyan sarath from chennai india, my hobbies are ham radio, music and computers. i am a licensed ham radio operator with call sign VU3MES active on both local vhf and hf also. i like to make new friends all over the work via the medium of ham radio and made many contacts with other hams in countries from far away brazil and next door sri lanka. i also like to do some homebrewing, the term for making once on ham radio equipments using the locally available electronic parts and so on.  i at present use a vintage transceiver for hf  work, a yaesu foxtango 101-e, which is a battleship of radio tht will last for ever and ever and can take any hammerings in its life. recently i have added a frequency counter for this txcvr and get correct readouts of received and transmitted frequencies.
